Junior Summer Programme — University College Cork residential
Apollo's Cork center is University College Cork, a university founded in 1845 on 44 acres of landscaped grounds fifteen minutes' walk from the city center. Students have a single bedroom with a private bathroom in a modern campus apartment shared by four to six students, and all meals are taken in the university restaurant. The campus sports complex has tennis courts, a climbing wall, indoor and outdoor running tracks, dance and spin studios and outdoor pitches. Teaching is 15 hours a week on a zig-zag morning/afternoon timetable in classes of at most 16, with nine optional free hours of project work. Two full-day trips run each week and a Cork city trip on Sundays. Bookings are two weeks or more, from two fixed Sunday arrivals — 28 June and 12 July — and the two blocks can be combined into a four-week stay. 2026 is the most recent published season.
