Academic Immersion - Creative Writing
Three weeks of Session 2 of BU's Academic Immersion spent on creative writing. Mornings are seminars on formal technique in fiction, poetry and screenplays taught by BU instructors who are working writers; afternoons are writing workshops, free-write sessions on campus and around Boston, guest speakers and visits to cultural institutions. The program ends in a writers showcase where each student reads one of their own pieces. Noncredit. Dates and prices are BU's published Summer 2026 season, now finished.
