Academic Immersion - Introduction to Medicine
Three weeks of Session 2 of BU's Academic Immersion, spent on medicine. Mornings are seminars on anatomy and physiology, infectious diseases and contemporary issues in medicine. The first week's afternoons are hands-on: simulation labs for physical exams and vital signs, suturing and surgical knots, anatomy laboratory investigation and radiology imaging. Weeks two and three move to systems physiology laboratory work, presented to the BU community at the end. Noncredit. Dates and prices are BU's published Summer 2026 season, which has finished.
