STEM for Rising 9th and 10th Graders
A residential 12-day STEM program on the Providence campus for students completing grades 8 to 9, ages 13 to 15 by 14 June 2026, running 12 to 24 July 2026. Students pick one STEM discipline and work through rigorous academic content, laboratory or field exercises, hands-on team research projects and design-build challenges, finishing with a final presentation rather than a grade. Participants live in a residence hall with Resident Assistants; the day runs from morning academics through supervised evening activities to a 10 p.m. curfew.
