English + STEAM with Designer Minds
English lessons in the morning and three afternoons a week of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and maths workshops run by Designer Minds, an Irish education company that delivers STEAM workshops in schools nationwide. The English classes use National Geographic Learning materials and run to 20 lessons a week. The rest of the week follows CEC's junior program with activities, an evening program and one full-day excursion. Available with a host family in Douglas or in the MTU residence at its own published rate. Minimum booking is two weeks and there are two published start dates in 2026. 2026 is the most recent published season.
