Summer Immersion — NYC Residential
Three-week residential pre-college program on Columbia's Morningside Heights campus in New York for students aged 15 to 18 who will turn 16 by 31 December of the year they attend. Students pick from more than 70 non-credit courses across 12 subject areas and spend roughly four hours a day in class on weekdays, with a two-hour midday break and an afternoon and evening residential-life program in the city. The published fee covers housing, dining, activities, health services and technology; the application fee, course-specific fees and books are charged separately. Session AB joins Sessions A and B into six weeks and is billed per session. Columbia also runs a lower-cost commuter version of the same program in New York for students who arrange their own accommodation.
