Summer Buddy Programme — Canterbury state schools
A high-school integration program in Canterbury for 11-15 year olds with at least B1 English, rather than a language class. International students attend a normal timetable at a selected English state secondary school — science, history, maths and the rest — paired one-to-one for the first two weeks with an English pupil who has volunteered to be a Buddy and who shares classes, lunch, break times, sports afternoons and extra-curricular activities. Students live with a homestay family, eat a hot lunch in school with their Buddy, and join full-day and half-day excursions run by Concorde staff with the Canterbury Study Centre. Capacity is 25. Prices and dates are the published 2026 season.
