International Summer School — English and Skills Academies
Dean Close's own summer school on its walled Victorian campus a short walk from Cheltenham Spa, for boys and girls aged 9 to 17. Over thirty hours of English across the fortnight, taught by Dean Close staff and teachers connected to the school, with a placement test the morning after arrival and classes usually capped at twelve, balanced by age, ability and nationality. Each week the student picks one Skills Academy: British Sports, Cookery School, Design & Draw, Digital Creators, Outdoor Adventure and Performing Arts Studio are included in the fee, while Riding School, Tennis Academy and Swim School carry a published weekly supplement. Six excursions are included per two-week course. Two dated courses run in 2026, 8 to 22 July and 22 July to 5 August. Prices are the school's published 2026 brochure fees.
