Downe House Summer School
A single two-week residential course for boys and girls aged 9 to 15 at Downe House, a girls' boarding school near Newbury in Berkshire that opens its campus and its own teaching staff for the summer. Mornings are academic — English language pitched to ability, STEM projects and a Global Solutions strand on climate, sustainability and equality; afternoons and evenings are sport, drama and creative arts. The 'Best of British' excursion package includes London sightseeing, Thorpe Park with entrance fee, an Oxford University seminar, a British Army skills workshop and a traditional high tea. Runs 11 to 25 July 2026 only. Prices are Downe House's published 2026 inclusive fee.
