NYU Precollege — Summer term
NYU Precollege places high-school students into New York University's own undergraduate courses for a full summer term on the Washington Square campus, with academic advising and access to NYU's libraries and resources. Tuition is charged per credit rather than as a package: a typical course is 3 or 4 credits and students take up to 8 credits (2 classes) in summer. Campus housing is available in summer only, is charged separately from tuition, and carries a curfew and residential staffing regime. Eligibility is rising 11th or 12th graders with at least a 3.0 GPA. Dates and charges here are NYU's published Summer 2026 term; NYU had not yet published Summer 2027 dates at the time of curation.
