Summer Discovery at UCLA — Middle School
The middle school version of the UCLA program, for students in grades 6 to 8, published as one three-week option from 28 June to 17 July 2026. Students choose courses from areas including law and government and forensic science, and the day is balanced between academic classes and daily recreational activities in arts, health and sports plus off-campus excursions. Residential middle school students have dedicated floors in Centennial Hall, an air-conditioned residence near the basketball and tennis courts. The Institute for the Gifted track for grades 4 to 8 is published at the same dates and the same price.
