Design Media Arts Summer Institute — UCLA
Three-week residential Design Media Arts institute at UCLA for high-school students aged 15 to 18 in grades 9–12, running 21 June to 8 July 2026. Students work through studio projects in design and digital media to build a portfolio-ready body of work, with supervised campus housing including weekends and breakfast and dinner provided in a nearby dining hall. UCLA also runs a virtual version of this institute from 13 to 30 July at a lower program fee; only the in-person residential session is listed here. The UCLA registration fee, course and institutional fees, and the international-student insurance and service fee are charged on top of the program fee.
